I guess it was inevitable. With a baby girl as active and as full of life as Brooke it was bound to happen sometime. We have our first shiner! She was playing on the couch, slipped off, and landed on the table. Brooke has been so brave and loves to look at her injury in the mirror. When she woke up this morning her eye was swollen shut and she kept trying to rub it open. The only complaint that we have heard out of her is a few "Oh...Ouch!"s when her hand touches the bruise. She is our princess and we think that she is beautiful.....even with a black eye!

Poor girl! She is so brave. That seems like Brooke to not complain except a little "Oh... ouch." I so enjoyed watching her over Thanksgiving. She has such a fun personality. I hope it heals quickly.
Oh poor Brooke. That is so cute that she says oh ouch when she touches her eye. She is so cute and she is very lucky that she doesn't have more black eyes being the little active girl she is. We love you Brooke.
